Petey’s Picks are sourced from a collection of open RSS feeds. We send our mascot Petey the Pigeon out to fly around and scour the internet for only the news you want. All killer no filler.
About the Inverse Pigeon Shit Scale:
In situations where a scorable review is appropriate, we are electing to use our own unique grading scale. With the help of our mascot Petey the Pigeon, we grade on what we call the “inverse pigeon shit scale.”
It works the opposite way of a traditional one-to-five scale, and instead of stars or numerical points, we assign pigeon shits. Five pigeon shits means a dumpster fire piece of media and zero shits means an outstanding piece of work.
We understand that this is a narrow and rigid scale, so we do reserve the right to assign additional score modifiers such as golden eggs for perfection and possible rectal cancer warnings for the worst abominations.
